Multimedia learning is a multimedia application used in the learning process, in other words, to channel the message (knowledge, skills, and attitudes) and can stimulate thoughts, feelings, attention, and willingness to learn so intentionally the learning process occurs, aimed and controlled. (Dalle, J., Hadi, S., & Baharuddin, H. N., 2017)

With the continuous development of information technology education, people put forward higher teaching environments and facilities requirements. The multimedia podium is a piece of essential equipment in modern teaching; its merits and demerits directly affect the efficiency of the teacher’s classroom and the sense of experience. However, the traditional multimedia podium for teaching interaction is a relatively single function and has not been able to adapt to the new teaching model.

Here is a video to introduce multimedia learning and its effective use.

Advantage:

  • Interactivity: It influences students’ learning thinking during the learning process, while effective interaction can improve classroom enjoyment and stimulate learning interest.
  • Comfort: To provide conditions for students to achieve a better learning state and create a comfortable sensory experience.

But on the other hand, there are some disadvantages,

  • High cost and high investment: The configuration of other teaching hardware facilities such as computers takes up a lot of teaching funds.
  • Natural factors: The dependence on the teaching environment and facilities is too strong, and the flexibility and diversity of teaching methods and approaches are lost. And the teaching process is too much influenced by objective uncertainties
